In 2009, China Coal & Mining will have been hosted for its 13th anniversary. It’s China longest running tradeshow, surviving both ups and downs of the coal industry, and therefore it is considered a nation-wide calendar event for the industry.
In the recent years, the coal output in China has been greatly increased. During the period of “11th Five-Year Plan”, China will establish new coal mines which total output capacity will reach 300 million tons, and 200 million tons will be put into production. Furthermore, 13 super large coal bases which production capacity will be over 100 million tons will be found in China, and it is planed that the output will reach 2.26 billion tons by the year of 2010, representing 86% of domestic total production. At that time, the mining mechanization of large coal mines in China will reach over 95%, over 80% in the medium coal mines, while 40% in the small ones. Therefore, in the following years, the demand for coal machinery will be rapidly increased in China. It is estimated that the annual domestic demand will be 30-50 billion RMB. The coal machinery market in China will have great development. With the rapid development of China’s coal industry and adjustment of relevant policies, there will be some new changes during the development of China’s coal machinery manufacturing industry: the coal machinery will be developed in the direction of heavy, large, strong, high-power and integration of mechanics and electrics. The competition trend of industry has been turned from “single production manufacture” to “complete equipment manufacture”, and large, intelligent and complete equipment will become the developing trend and focus in the future China’s coal machinery market.

MINING AUSTRALIA 2009 EXPO WA
‘New’ HYDCO 1200H Rig was launched at the recent Mining Australia 2009 Expo 21-23 Oct, Belmont Park Racecourse Perth W.A., where we exhibited our latest Australian designed HYDCO 1200H Diamond and RC Drilling Rig manufactured at the Company’s facilities in India. Hydco International was proud to display this large Multi Purpose Drill Rig to the Western Australian Drilling Industry.
The HYDCO 1200H is a higher capacity drill rig incorporating an upgraded 12m mast structure, a two-speed floating spindle drive head with a further two speeds on the drive motor, allowing both RC (reverse circulation) and Diamond Drilling applications. Pullback has been increased to 21,500 kg and Hydco International has recently upgraded the HYDCO 1200H for In-Seam Coal drilling.
A number of drilling table and other customisation options are available should you require.

"First Handover in India" Visit Hydco International Website

Hydco were proud to handover the first of a number of new drilling rigs manufactured in India for Transnational Drilling & Mining Associates Pvt Ltd.
Pictured is Mr. Ajit Singh, Country Manager for Transnational handing over the cheque to Mr. Prashant Pandya GM of Mamata Hydco India for the Hydco 1000H Multi Purpose Drill.
This machine will become a key element for Transnational’s drilling operations in India, providing deep hole capacity to their operations.
Also in attendance on this auspicious occasion were Mr. David Guild, Operations Manager for Transnational Drilling and Mr. Ian Pitcher, Director of Mamata Hydco India.

The HYDCO 1200H Multi Purpose Drill Rig was very well received and it has many customers reviewing their Drill Rig fleets.
The new HYDCO 1200H is a higher-capacity drill rig incorporating a longer upgraded mast structure, which delivers even more drilling power, while also providing more internal room for make and break options now available from Hydco International.
This “Make & Break” unit, allows RC drill rod joints to be both mechanically tightened and un-tightened without any physical contact from the drill operators, eliminating one of drilling operators highest safety risk activities. This system can also be retro fitted to existing drill rigs.
The HYDCO 1200H incorporates a two-speed floating spindle drive head with a further two speeds on the drive motor, allowing both RC (reverse circulation) and Diamond drilling applications. A number of drilling table options are available and the Hydco team is happy to assist you with your requirements and discuss other customisation options you may require.
